Sylvie Marshall
After obtaining a degree in Psychology, Sylvie taught Drama at secondary level for a few years before working in the fashion business. She also obtained a Diploma in TEFL in ’86, teaching drama in this field and a Cert Counselling in ’88.
She studied largely with Clifford Andrews in Norwich, but also with the other founder members of the Shiatsu College, Carola Beresford-Cooke, Nicola Pooley and Paul Lundberg in London, graduating in ’92. Sylvie is now a registered teacher with the Shiatsu Society, part of the Assessment Panel and a Teacher Trainer.
She has taught at several branches of the Shiatsu College, works regularly with students in Norwich and Manchester and has run occasional courses in Italy. Her teaching is informed both by her drama and counselling background but also by a fascination with concepts of Ki awareness.
Sylvie has a busy practice at the Shiatsu Centre Clinic in Norwich.
Sylvie charges £40 per session.
