Anne Roy
Anne Roy gained a teaching degree in Educational Drama and Linguistics and then went on to teach English to Chinese people, and to train others to do so, working in Eastern Europe and North America.
Living and working among Vietnamese refugees from 1979 till 1990 she absorbed something of their culture and language, which led to her enduring interest in Chinese philosophy and medicine. In 1985 she did an inspirational shiatsu workshop with Clifford Andrews and went on to graduate from The Shiatsu College in 1992. Since then she has qualified in traditional Chinese acupuncture.
She is dedicated to energy work: to developing Ki awareness, exchange and transformation. Alongside this is her commitment to the integration of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) into Zen shiatsu treatments.
Anne does Post Graduate Year supervision and also offers post graduate courses in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
