Norwich
Welcome to the Shiatsu College Norwich

Norwich is the most long standing branch of the College outside of London, since our local ‘founder’ Cliff Andrews set it up in 1986. He also established the first dedicated Shiatsu clinic in the UK – The Shiatsu Centre – so as one of our students you will have easy access to our library, the administrative office of the College and to the teachers who practise there.
We can also offer simple, basic, overnight accommodation in the Clinic for students who have far to travel (for a minimum fee – currently £5.00)
COURSES:
Download our Prospectus 2012-13 here
You can join us for modules in the Open Programme on a drop-in basis, or you can collect the necessary ‘College Credits’ from Open Programme modules to give you access to the Core Shiatsu Programme in the following year. The Clinical Programme is the graduating year for those of you committed to becoming professional Shiatsu practitioners and includes a 4 day Residential workshop with the founding teachers of the College
Teachers:
Our local teaching team is unusual in that we are all highly experienced, international Shiatsu teachers with very individual approaches and real enthusiasm and commitment to developing our teaching strategies to give you the best possible experience of learning Shiatsu.
Past students have been drawn from as far afield as Italy and France by the reputation of our high quality course and teaching team.
“I absolutely love being a Shiatsu practitioner! The Shiatsu course in Norwich is simply the best thing I ever did. I feel so lucky to have found four such extraordinarily gifted and inspiring teachers – and what you have taught me has completely transformed my life. I may have finished the course but the process is still unrolling!”
Linda Sonntag MRSS, Southwold
Location:
Classes are taught at the beautiful Anteros Arts Centre (formerly the King of Hearts) in the heart of the medieval city, with a view of the cathedral, by a tree-lined river ideal for lunchtime walks and Qigong exercises under the weeping willows. The rooms are spacious and airy, there’s a lovely café downstairs with a Tudor courtyard, as well as an art gallery and shop. It’s in easy walking distance of the city centre and numerous handy snack bars and restaurants, is easily reached from the station and has parking nearby.
