Continuing Professional Development is an important part of the College’s work. Individual and group tutorials are always available with Anne Palmer and other members of the teaching team. Additionally, we offer regular one-day workshops – with both local and visiting teachers – both as stand-alone days and as part of the Post-Graduate Programme.

Back to the Future – Advanced Shiatsu for Treating the Back
At the end of the workshop you will be able to:

Clifford Andrews has been studying, practising & teaching Shiatsu for over 30 years and has developed a comprehensive and comprehensible approach to the use of Kyo & Jitsu in diagnosis & treatment. Cliff sees symptoms as manifestations of Ki and has developed advanced techniques based on direct experience of meridian resonance with symptoms & the structure of the energetic body.
This workshop is suitable for Shiatsu practitioners, and graduates with a good knowledge of the Masunaga system, who are interested in expanding their experience of working with the Energetic Field.

Post-Graduate workshops may now be undertaken locally in Newcastle, and/or at the Shiatsu College Residential, and/or by online learning. You can build up your portfolio, along with your Shiatsu practice, to achieve the Shiatsu College’s internationally respected Post-Graduate Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma.

Or, you may simply choose to take occasional workshops to fulfil your CPD requirements for the Shiatsu Society, or to complete the PGY route to MRSS.
All of these workshops give you an opportunity to deepen and develop your practice, get some fresh input and connect with the support of teachers and peers.
