Clinical Programme, London
“This man sat opposite me, telling me all what was wrong with him and I realised: oh my god, there he is talking to me, the therapist! How can that be? Not that long ago I was the one needing help. I tuned in my energy and listened to him from my centre and relaxed….I then confidently proceeded in giving this man a massage that improved the quality of life!”
Dominique Rivoal (Film Editor / Artist and Shiatsu Practitioner)
With individual tutorials, supervised clinical practice, weekends of consolidation and tuition on specific health issues, the clinical programme prepares you for professional Shiatsu practice.
All who have completed the Core Programme, either locally or from elsewhere around the country, plus anyone with equivalent experience who can be given Accredited Prior Learning (via individual interview), can join this year of study and practice.
Students on this Programme will be welcome to re-visit classes in the Core Shiatsu Programme (at no extra cost) and will also be offered a range of weekend workshops on specific health issues e.g. back pain, joint problems, women’s health etc
We also encourage and welcome those of you who are working as Shiatsu practitioners, or who have graduated and wish to refresh your skills, to come along to any of the weekends that appeal to you, as a way of developing and supporting your skills and practice through Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
For more information about the Clinical Programme 2011-12, including the topic of each weekend, dates and costs, please contact Jane Lyons 02086710909, use our contact form London or email london@shiatsucollege.co.uk.
